Perhaps parents for various reasons, who never attempted to push past limits to unlock extraordinary potential, will never truly know bad parenting at its best.  (A)mazing moms do not label parents who are unwilling to unleash potential.  Rather, we ponder the paradox as to why not unleash potential, and weep for those who have never tried.  

Parents already know, getting kids to eat healthy can be a challenge.  Over sized boxes of sugar goodies, makes some parents want to counter the effect.  So last year, I began to take cover, so to speak.  I took to covering textbooks with the reminder that good food and wellness go hand in hand, reminding my kid that eating well is actually 

science in motion, and now this year - here we go again!

Share  stories about how you remind kids before, during, and after school about the science behind eating well to ensure the benefits everywhere, of productivity in motion.

At last!

While keeping my utter wonder and envy of astronauts flying among the stars in perspective, one of my favorite cartoons, which was also among one of the prized coloring books in our household when me lad was a tot, came to mind.  Well of course, it was the Jetsons!  How happy I was to have found a Jetsons coloring book, and to scurry home and convey to my little lad, let's go Jetsons.

Now at last, I feel like perhaps many parents from around the world - giving thanks to Amazon, for making our household feel more like the Jetsons with just a click.  So move over mum Jane, Elroy, and Astro too, because simulation of your space life is now on Earth, thanks to Amazon.

Reaching for Stars

Growing up reading about man's walk on the moon, although jealousy is indeed a character flaw, I felt the life of an astronaut was a life to envy, and a life of utter wonder and respect. After all, astronauts see the world from a totally different lens, and how fortunate are they to see stars shinning bright within their full potential, and reflection.  So as a mum, we delved into science fair projects that detailed space exploration including orbiting, docking stations, manned, and unmanned stations, satellites, and yes, even the first lesson from space.   I still believe the life of an astronaut is one of brilliance shining bright within the galaxy, much like a star.  If everyone could grasp the view of an astronaut, that lens would perhaps unleash full potential, when it's shinning so bright. So where are we now?

As we navigate the onslaught that comes with _______(intentionally left blank), a new addition joined our family.

Words, nor blogging can truly express the tranquility that comes with the cliché "let sleeping dogs ..."  After all, watching a sleeping dog really puts life in perspective.  With carefree dog days of listening to the birds at dawn, believing that they're chirping good morning to you - after all, it's a dogs world; running after the school bus pretending and believing that you can catch the school bus to give the lad one last high paw before the day begins, to chasing squirrels up a tree, playing fetch, giving nose kisses, and showing that you care.  A sleeping dog, one day should take its rightful place as one of the wonders of the world.
